How do I make sure I get credit?
Share your personal link from Section 2. Your link includes a tracking code (?ref=you). If you submit via the form, we record your name/email as the referrer.
When are rewards paid?
Rewards are paid after your referral’s system is installed and verified. Typical installs average ~60 days from contract.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No limit—earn on every qualified install. One referrer is credited per household; first valid submission counts.
Do referrals have to purchase solar?
Yes—only completed installs qualify for the reward at this time.
Are rewards taxable?
Rewards may be subject to tax reporting. We’ll email instructions if applicable. Consult your tax advisor for guidance.

Referral Program Terms
By participating in the referral program (“Program”) offered by Watts Home Services (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to the Terms below. We may update these Terms at any time.
- Eligibility: Referrers must be 18+. Referrals must be new to Watts Home Services (not already in our system), own their home, and be located within our current service area.
- Qualified Install: Rewards are issued only after the referred homeowner’s solar (or solar + battery) system is installed and verified by Watts Home Services.
- Reward Amount: The current top reward is up to $500 per installed referral. Exact amounts and structures may vary by promotion and are subject to change.
- One Referrer Per Household: If multiple people refer the same household, we credit the first valid submission received.
- Timeline: Typical installation timelines average ~60 days from contract, but timing can vary. Allow 2–3 weeks after verification for reward processing.
- Payment Method: Rewards may be paid via digital gift card or check at our discretion. Valid contact information is required to receive payment.
- Taxes: Rewards may be considered taxable income. You are responsible for any taxes. We may require a completed tax form prior to issuing rewards.
- Tracking: Use your personal share link or include your name when submitting the referral form. For best results, have your referral book through your link and mention your name.
- Program Changes: We may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time, including reward amounts, eligibility, and timing, with or without notice.
- Good Faith: Fraudulent, duplicate, or ineligible referrals are void. We may withhold or cancel rewards if we detect abuse.
- Clean Energy Credit Timing: The federal Residential Clean Energy Credit is scheduled to end for homeowner expenditures after Dec 31, 2025. Incentives and availability can change over time.
